The Naval Live Oaks Reserve

It’s 2 and 1/3 miles across the length of the Reserve as shown above.

The highway running through the middle is 98.

The pictures coming up are from the narrow strip below 98.

The Visitors’ Center is the grey parking area near the red square.

The last remnants of the 500 foot pier at Camp Big Heart are still visible as shown by the red arrow. It’s only the stumps of the original

pilings but it shows where the central part of the camp was back up the beach.
